DONGNAM Petrovina manufactures transformer insulating oils in Dinh Vu Industrial Park, Hai Phong. We are the Vietnam production base of DONGNAM Petroleum Ind. Co., Ltd., the Korean maker that has supplied insulating oil to power utilities since 1973.
DONGNAM Petrovina was established in Hai Phong in 2015 and completed its production plant in 2017. The plant supplies mineral insulating oils to IEC 60296:2020 and the BIOTRAN natural ester range to transformer builders and utilities across Southeast Asia and beyond.
In 1976 DONGNAM exported transformer oil for a 154 kV unit at a hydroelectric plant in the Philippines, Korea's first export of transformer oil. That process expertise runs the Hai Phong line today.
BIOTRAN natural esters are made from vegetable oil. They are readily biodegradable, non-toxic to aquatic life, and far less flammable than mineral oil.
K-class fire safety and high moisture tolerance protect people, equipment and transformer life. BIOTRAN-35S carries UL, FM and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen approvals.

Transformer insulating oils first, from fully inhibited mineral oil to biodegradable natural ester, followed by the DONGNAM group’s machine oils, process oils and industrial lubricants.
Inhibited and uninhibited oils from severely hydrotreated base oil, formulated to IEC 60296:2020, designations TVAI and TVBU. Clear and bright, non-corrosive, with DBDS, PCB and PCA below detection.
Vegetable-oil insulating fluid with excellent dielectric performance and superior fire safety. Meets IEC 62770 and ASTM D6871. Patent registered in Korea, Japan, China and Hong Kong.

Machine oil is produced using high-quality lubricating base oil refined through an advanced process. It is used for the lubrication of many kinds of machines and as a raw material for a broad range of industrial specialty oils.

Process oil is a high-performance filler with excellent compatibility, processability and dispersibility for natural and synthetic rubber. It softens rubber quickly, keeps quality uniform during molding, and improves flame resistance, tensile strength, elasticity, extensibility and wear resistance.
